If you find an injured or orphaned wild animal or you are a veterinary clinic in need of guidance/consultation, please give us a call. Staff is on site between 8am and 4pm, 7 days a week. Our phone number is 630-365-3800. If you call outside of those times, we will respond the following day. You may also email us at email@example.com.
Please be sure to contact a staff member before bringing any animals to Fox Valley Wildlife Center.
If you are interested in receiving an update on an injured animal you brought to the center, please email us with the subject “Patient follow-up” and the date and species of animal brought in. We will do our best to respond to your inquiry. Please note, we can not respond to multiple case updates and we are unable to provide patient follow-ups on orphaned animals.
Wildlife Acceptance Policy
Fox Valley Wildlife Center treats injured and orphaned wild animals. We do not accept skunks, bats, adult deer or trapped nuisance animals.
Fox Valley Wildlife Center may have species-specific admission criteria, such as minimum weight for an individual. In the case where our criteria is not met, we will do our best to help find a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
Current Patient Census
Our patients are housed in a variety of spaces as they recover from injuries or receive infant care. These spaces range from incubators for our youngest patients, recovery cages for injured patients and outdoor cages to prepare animals for release.
