As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, Fox Valley Wildlife Center is taking steps to ensure that we follow the guidelines of agencies such as the CDC and WHO. These guidelines include limiting the number of people who gather in a single location. With this in mind, we are changing the format of our upcoming Dinner Auction from in-person to online.
This was a difficult decision, and it was not made lightly. Because baby season is quickly approaching, postponing the event was not an option. We still need your support! Each year, this event provides critical funding that allows us to care for the spring babies who will soon be arriving at the Center. We hope you’ll be just as supportive of this new, online format as you have been of our past events.
So that we can switch gears and ensure that all “attendees” have a great experience, the Virtual Dinner Auction has been moved from it’s original date of April 4th to Saturday, April 18th. Please stay tuned and change your calendars now! We will be updating you with details by email, social media, and on the main page of our website in the coming weeks.
Please also keep the original April 4th date open on your calendars – we have some VERY EXCITING news we are looking forward to sharing with you! We’ll provide more information to you soon, about how this news will be shared. You’re NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS THIS!
Don’t forget to change your calendars and remember – your help is more important than ever. This virtual event will be fun…entertaining…surprising…interactive…and worthy of your support.
The animals are counting on you!
We wish everyone good health.
