Types of Education Programs
Girl/Boy Scout Patch Program
A program specially created for girl and boy scouts. During an hour length of time students will learn about waterfowl, songbirds, mammals, and reptiles and what to do when you find one. We will do crafts associated with each group of animal, and even meet three education ambassadors!
$10 per student, adults free
Animal Friends
This program is 30 minutes in length and focuses on basic native wildlife welfare, it is hands-on with 2 wildlife ambassadors, and includes visual aids and fun facts. Perfect for young children, or a small group!

Protecting Nature
This program is 45 minutes in length. We will talk about the importance of wildlife preservation and conservation issues. Can include powerpoint and other visual aids, along with 2 education ambassadors. Perfect for birders, conservationist, students studying the environment or even just college students.

Animal Adventures
During an hour, learn about rehabilitation and in-depth about wildlife conservation. Powerpoint can be included, along with other visual aids. Meet 2 education ambassadors. Perfect for groups that want to learn more about the rehabilitation process and why its so important.

Raptor Program
For 30 minutes, watch a powerpoint on all of the native "birds of prey" of Illinois. At the end ask questions while meeting our very own raptor education ambassador. Skulls, talons, and preserved wings will be apart of this fascinating presentation. Perfect for adults and children alike who are interested in these captivating birds.

Question and Answer
Have an event going on and would like us to be there without giving a formal presentation, this is the program for you! We can stand at a booth, or table with one educaiton ambassador and answer any questions as people come by. This program can vary in length from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
$40 for 30 minutes, $50 for 1 hour, $ 75 for 1 1/2 hours, $100 for 2 hours

Fox Valley Education Programs are very flexable. We can focus on any animal or group of animals, gear a program to a specific age group, and focus on any information you may be interested in.
